Business Head - IT

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to target government and public sector opportunities.

- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand their specific needs and challenges.

- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers within government ministries and public sector agencies.

- Lead the development of compelling proposals and tenders that effectively address client requirements and demonstrate the value proposition of Headsup's services.

- Manage the tendering process, ensuring all submissions adhere to government regulations and deadlines.

- Negotiate contracts and secure new business engagements

- Oversee project execution, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints.

- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the government and public sector.

- Stay up-to-date on government policies, procurement procedures, and relevant industry trends

Requirements:

- 6-7 years of proven experience in business development, with a strong focus on IT projects for the government and public sector.

- Demonstrated success in securing and executing contracts through the tendering process.

- Extensive knowledge of government procurement procedures and regulations.

- Established and demonstrably strong relationships with key decision-makers within government ministries and public sector agencies.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience in developing and delivering impactful presentations
