Position Overview:

The company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the Insurance business and drive growth in the Indian market. The Business Head - Insurance will be responsible for managing the Insurance Profit and Loss (P&L) and implementing strategies to cross-sell insurance products to the existing loan customers.

Job Description

1) Insurance P&L Management:

- Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed Insurance business revenue and profitability targets.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the financial health and growth of the Insurance business.

- Implement cost-effective measures to optimize operational efficiency.

Product Development and Innovation:

- Identify market trends and opportunities for new insurance products and features.

- Collaborate with the product development team to introduce innovative insurance solutions that meet customer needs and preferences.

2) Cross-Selling Strategy:

- Develop and execute cross-selling strategies to promote insurance products to existing loan customers.

- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive cross-selling initiatives.

3) Sales and Distribution Network:

- Build and expand a robust sales and distribution network for insurance products.

- Establish partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders in the insurance industry.

4) Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations and guidelines in the Indian market.

- Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance regulations and proactively adapt the business to remain compliant.

5) Team Leadership:

- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of insurance professionals.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer segments, trends, and competitive landscape.

- Use insights to tailor product offerings and marketing strategies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the insurance industry or Insurance Cross-sell Industry, with a strong track record in Insurance P&L management.

- Proven experience in formulating and executing cross-selling strategies.

- Sound knowledge of insurance products and regulations in the Indian market.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
