The company is founded by an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad who has built and guided the business to its success.
As the Business Head - Insurance, you will be working directly with founders on strategic and growth initiatives and creating long-term and short-term plans for the respective projects.
What you will do:
- Managing the project end-to-end by working with all stake-holders within and outside the organization.
- Achieving P&L targets and ensure the necessary resources to achieve the same.
- Ensuring company's expansion is planned strategically keeping a sharp eye on industry & technology up gradation explore and drive strategic partnerships and expand company's existing setup within the department and organisation as a whole.
- Designing and executing programming, managing logistics and buddy mentoring coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.
Overseeing all aspects of projects.
- Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring and summarise the progress of the project. Preparing reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.
- Defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensuring resource availability and allocation; Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
- Jointly identifying opportunities for collaboration, co-creation & management of team-related work activities
- Acting as the overall business champion for one or more business concepts, leading technology development, helping develop and expand the market case, completing the business model, and guiding operations and implementation.
- Being a hands-on role and needing individual accountability and effective operation across a spectrum of subject matter, timeframes, and complexity.
- Drafting product/business architecture, determining product specifications, delivering technology products, and ensuring appropriate quality control.
- Identifying, validating and delivering the product to a viable market segment; supervising market research, and market trials.
- Creating and implementing a marketing plan and business development plan
Candidate Profile:
What you need to have:
- Experience in Sales & Business Development - mainly General insurance
- At least 2+ years of work experience as an entrepreneur or as a core team member in fast-paced, high-growth internet companies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive and sense of urgency.
- Should be a Hustler who can thrive in an ambiguous environment.
- Should have the intersection of skills on two or more areas among product, tech, digital marketing, and Sales.
- Should be a strong multi-tasker.
- Good understanding of Product Integration and Project management
Qualification: MBA required
Experience: 5 to 10 years
