Job Description:
Leadership and Management:
- Proven ability to lead and inspire HR teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Strong influence and communication skills with senior management and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives aligned with business objectives and promote organizational growth.
HR Expertise:
- Deep understanding of Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) best practices.
- Extensive experience in organizational design and structure, including hands-on implementation of various models.
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and legal compliance.
- Proven track record of attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent through effective staffing strategies.
- Expertise in all aspects of people management, including change management, talent acquisition, organizational development, learning and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and more.
Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to understand and appreciate business models and challenges specific to the organization.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support business goals and contribute to organizational success.
- Skill in leveraging people data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
People Development and Coaching:
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop and empower employees.
- Experience in identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workforce productivity.
Networking and Professional Development:
- Strong network within the HR community, including professional associations and consulting organizations.
- Hands-on experience in optimizing employee costs and enhancing productivity.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in Telugu, with English as the primary business language.
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Head- Business HR should have:
- Leadership and Experience: 15+ years in HR, including 5+ years leading large-scale manufacturing HR. Proven track record in nationwide manufacturing and sales organizations.
- Strategic HR: M&A experience, global talent management, unionized environment expertise.
- Additional: Early-career operational experience, cross-functional collaboration, executive management training.
