- This position is based in Bangalore and requires your onsite presence at our offices.
- Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
- Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
- Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors
- Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
- Allocate office space according to needs
- Handle insurance plans and service contracts
- Keep financial and non-financial records
- Perform analysis and forecasting
Requirements and skills :
- Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Good analytical/critical thinking
- BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage
- Handling P&L vertical across the country
- Should have been a a facilities head and should have the capacity to build the business a from scratch and expand over a period of time
- Handling a regional role or Pan India role at least for a period of 2 years
- Should have handled large team size
- Should have good contacts in the industry to generate revenue
- should have handled at least 15-20 Cr business per year
- Should be flexible to travel
- Should have capability to be a good relationship manager with clients
- Should have handled B to B real estate from a facilities management standpoint with at least 0.5 to 1 million sq.ft
- Either on commercial side or office space side
- Based out of Bangalore
