A Leader & P&L Head who has hands on experience in the agency and BTL line of business with proven and implemented Business Strategies, Account Mining, Client Management, New business acquisitions, Digital campaign management & Man management skills.
Preferably from a B2B business line.
Job description:
- As Head BD you will be responsible for increasing revenue through new client's acquisitions, retention and enhanced profitability.
- Understanding of Client's needs, their Sales process (channel, Internal and customer) to deliver top line and bottom- line revenue for the company.
- Manage a team of BD managers to deliver the sales targets set by the organisation.
- This is a B2B and B2C concept Sales role, hence you will be responsible for achieving targets of the team and the objectives set by the company.
- The Primary role of the Head BD will include sales planning, team management, prospecting, cold calling, regular interactions, market research, making presentation/pitches to India's top brand managers, Marketers, Marketing heads with intent to WIN business.
- Guide and support the team in all the new business initiatives.
- Good negotiation skills, presentation skills and eye for profitability
- Our business model revolves around designing & delivering customised solutions. Therefore, an in depth understanding of Brands, Marketing Strategies, BTL/ ATL promotions, campaigns, events, data, digital Programs will be of primary importance.
- Must have inclination towards technology and how it enables solution marketing.
- Thinking on your feet is mandatory - however its most important to clearly understand the brands objectives, and marketing goals to create suitable programmes.
- Market study in terms of competition mapping, pricing, discount, offers, market intelligence and market share.
- Engage closely with all prospects for large consumer and corporate programs, understanding marketing solution landscape of India and address specific industry clients needs accordingly.
- Generation of new database & mining existing database, market research, referrals driving & relationship management for increasing business
Desired Skills and Requirements:
- The successful candidate to have more than15 to 20years of experience in a business environment and in a Senior client acquisition rolein a marketing services business for at least 5 to 10 years.
- We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and presentation skills having a strong Concept / Solution Sales background.
- Must have been exposed to B2B corporate sales and concept sales with a keen sales and marketing acumen. Specifically dealing with Marketing Heads, Chief Marketing Officers, Trade &
- Channel Marketing teams will be an added advantage.
- Ability to develop strong relationships to build either an industry or functional network
- Candidates having good contacts with Brand and Marketing Managers and Decision Makers in sectors like Telecom, IT product, Retail, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Banking, cement and others will be preferred.
- Candidates should have prior experience of working and managing a team and must be willing to travel across India
