Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan for the events division, setting clear goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify new market opportunities and industry trends.
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives to attract new clients and expand market share.
Client Management & Sales Growth:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, exceeding expectations and ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Leverage your sales expertise to identify client needs and develop customized event solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve ambitious sales targets for the events division.
Leadership & Team Collaboration:
- Provide leadership and direction to event sales and marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and achievement-oriented environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, creative) to ensure successful event planning and execution.
- Develop and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in business development or sales, with a proven track record in the events industry.
- Strong understanding of the events industry, market trends, and client needs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Experience in business planning and project management is a plus.
