Business Head - EV Financing

Our client is an early-stage startup based in Mumbai, backed by marquee investors. They are venturing into the electric vehicle (EV) financing space, aiming to create a significant impact in the green mobility ecosystem.

Role: As the Business Head of EV Financing, you will spearhead the development and scaling of the EV financing vertical. You will have full ownership of the business strategy, P&L management, and operations. This leadership position is critical for establishing the company as a leader in the evolving EV financing industry, with a focus on innovation, customer experience, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and scale the EV financing business from the ground up.

- Drive business strategy and growth initiatives.

- Manage full P&L responsibilities for the EV financing vertical.

- Ensure regulatory compliance in coordination with financial and legal teams.

- Lead the team by fostering a high-performance culture.

- Establish key partnerships with EV manufacturers, dealerships, and financial institutions to drive growth.

Candidate Requirements:

- MBA from a Tier 1 institution is essential.

- 10+ years of experience in finance, lending, or related fields, with a strong understanding of P&L management.

- Proven experience in building and scaling new business units, particularly in financial services or fintech.

- Experience with regulatory compliance and managing relationships with financial institutions.

- Strong leadership and team-building experience.

- Knowledge of the electric vehicle ecosystem and green financing will be an added advantage.
