Designation: Business Head - ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)

Education requirements
BE/M.TECH/Ph.D. preferable from a reputable university
Deep understanding of the global, regional and local ESG/Sustainability and Decarbonization standards
Work experience requirements
15 years of previous relevant work experience and a background in business development, environmental, energy, and ESG consulting is highly appreciated
Business Development
- Create business solutions for new & existing client engagements by understanding the business objective, scope and planning for appropriate resources.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in developing new opportunities where practice opportunities can be applied.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to provide recommendations for process improvements & initiatives on maturity assessment.
- Build an in-depth knowledge of the client's business and stay up-to-date on industry activities, marketplace trends, innovation efforts, and leading practices.
- Perceiving solutions for new engagements, guiding the team in developing proposals for prospective clients, facilitating proposal discussions with clients, and assisting in closing the deals
- Tracking pipeline of clients with proposals delivered, Maintaining a balanced portfolio of clients through cross-selling and repeated engagements
- Creating leadership materials and industry-specific business case studies for new solutions
- Responsible for setting up & developing the Delhi office
Project Management
- Coordinate with clients for ESG assurance & assessments, due diligence, and advisory projects.
- Ensuring optimal structuring of ESG engagements to enhance profitability and, at the same time, maintain the expected quality standards
- Lead engagement involving implementation of ESG proposals & plans through widespread project management.
- Driving best practices in ESG to ensure the continued trajectory in integration with current market trends
- Arrange for regular client briefings to share progress, issues, and newer developments and solicit client feedback.
- Drive effective utilization across projects for the team at all times through appropriate staffing,
- Responsible for Talent Acquisition, Development & Retention.
