Our client is a growing Edu-Tech corporate that offers diversified and integrated technology-enabled education products, services, content and infrastructure. Led by a team of highly qualified professionals including IIT-IIM alumni, with a passion for excellence in education, the firm is focused on shaping the lives and careers of many students.The firm commenced operations in 1996, has a diversified and integrated technology-enabled approach to education and has established itself as a recognized brand in the education sector. They operate across a broad spectrum of segments in the education industry.

As a Business Head- Engineering, Medical, Tuition, you will be responsible for overall business of Mumbai region for Engineering, Medical and Tuitions.

What you will do:

- Visualizing, designing, and executing business process for customer acquisition and program delivery

- Overseeing the execution and planning of driving revenue and gross margin growth and sales strategy by using analysis to forecast sales performance, set sales targets, determining the effectiveness of current sales initiatives and implementing change if necessary

- Creating capacity in terms of people, products, programs and sales/marketing investments to achieve the goals/ budgets

- Building and promoting a strong team culture within the sales representatives ultimately resulting in an engaged and high performing sales team

- Creating and driving sales and marketing tactics/ strategies with the team for customer discovery, engagement and acquisition (e.g. online events, creative workshops, partner channels, collaborations)

- Working and leading the cross-functional effort by closely working with product, tech & sales and academics to ensure effective GTM choices including strategies and tactics

- Working closely along with the other stakeholders to ensure the profitability indicators are as per the plans for the year

- Ensuring that spending and budgeting are in line with business objectives and relevant legislation

Desired Candidate Profile:

What you need to have:

- Degree in Engineering/ MBA will be a plus

- Proven experience as Sales/Business Head or relevant role

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

- Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems

- Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques
