BUSINESS HEAD Agri Cotton trading :
- Operations & Risk Management
- Physical trading (Cash trading) - Domestic, Imports & Exports
- Relative valuation, Commodity sourcing, Marketing, Strategic Hedging, P&L Monitoring
- Overseeing trade execution and logistic operations
- Risk Management of trading book (Futures, Options, Foreign Exchange)
- Derivatives trading (Futures, Spreads, Arbs)
- Marketing
- Managing client relationships
- Analyse business potential & execute strategies to achieve desired sales and profitability targets
- Keeping sales team updated with regular market information, price movements and trends, risk exposure, etc.
Origination & Channel Management :
Sourcing responsibilities in terms of supplier relationship management, liasoning with multiple regional branches, inventory management and order tracking
Supply & Demand tracking :
- Overseeing the research team efforts in crop estimation, demand and ex-im flows tracking
- Running the prop S&D numbers
Business Development :
- Quantification of market size, business opportunity possible and representation of financial workings along with recommendation on an appropriate business model.
- Explore new markets in terms of business attractiveness, identify and meet trade participants for understanding and initiating new business opportunities.
Qualification And Experience :
1) Post Graduate with Minimum 15+ Experience in trading of Agri Cotton commodities to Head the organisation.
2) Good communication and negotiating skills
3) Knowledge of trading operations, products and services is required
4) Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
5) Strong customer service orientation and ability to establish solid working relationships.
6) Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
7) Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Leadership team, clients, customers and other employees.
8) Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
