Job description:
- Overall P&L responsibility including business growth for the next level in the region and responsible for the business strategy, P&L of the operation and people management.
- Provide strategic direction, motivation, leadership and proven general management ability to successfully increase profitability and ensure the Indian operations maintains its marketplace share and visibility.
- Head the Sales Operations of the company directly, lead the organization, maintain customers and new customer acquisition initiatives.
- Proactively conducting opportunity analysis by keeping abreast of market trends and competitor moves to achieve market share metrics.
- Collaborate with Senior Management and Global teams to develop sustainable relationships and promote growth agenda in Indian Market.
- Ensuring a strong financial plan to achieve the planned objectives of cash flow, revenues, costs, risk, returns and controls.
- Ensuring, assessing and anticipating all internal (manufacturing, operational, financial, legal, people related) and external risks to the growth of the business and planning for redressing the same.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Level Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production & Industrial) or similar from a recognized local or international University
- Masters Level Degree in Business (MBA, PGDM) or equivalent from a recognized local or international university.
Experience:
- 15-20 years' experience of management of people and resources within high-growth start-up organization in Bearing/Industrial Products Manufacturing Organization.
- A proven record of success in senior-level management, preferable with P&L, Sales & Business Development, Operations and People Management.
- Experience of bid preparation/pricing proposal preparation in accordance with customers requirement and companies business objectives.
- A practical understanding of operations management theories such as technical project management; total quality management; Kaizen; business process re-engineering ; six sigma, and ISO 9001
- A track record and strong ability to organize and prioritize operational workload.
- Ability to adapt on a personal level, and influence attitudes of the operations team in order to cope with change and change management.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills and creative problem solver.
- Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills - can communicate and relate effectively with the board, customers and employees.
