As Business head - based in either Pune or Mumbai you will build, develop, and lead a team of high calibre professionals who will execute overall distribution, content creation, product localisation, operations to enable a great consumer experience for Indian consumers. You will report to India CEO and work with a global team to achieve success in India.
You are:
- A great leader: You have managed a P&L before for a product/business for any consumer app in India. You can understand Top line and bottom line and everything in between and can captain a cause with a group of people to achieve the same.
- An Entrepreneur: You solve problems no matter how difficult things seem to be and can launch from 0 to 1 and then build a team to scale from 1 to 100. Entrepreneurs whose business did not succeed and managed video apps will be preferred.
- A business builder: You would like to Conceptualize a Business plan, implementing and executing it for a video product in a fast growing sector of consumer apps.
- A team builder: You can bring together a core team of top class people to work together to create a successful business. Further you will need to have either Deep connections or you can hire someone with deep connections with live content creators.
- A Negotiator: You have ability to develop to manage contracts and has experience in deal making . Also have ability to delegate, non-essential work to contractual employees as per business needs.Ability to Co-ordination with various departments and stakeholders, locally and globally.
- Guided by Data: You constantly analyse market and its various moving pieces and re-evaluate decisions to grow the product and business.
- Certifiably experienced and Qualified: You are book smart as well as street smart - have at least 5 years of experience in digital consumer app space in India in a senior role. Bonus points if you have worked with Video products. Graduate or Post Graduate from IIT/IIM will also be preferred.
