Business Head - B2C
Responsible for driving growth & profitability of the BUb, which covers sales of He/she will be responsible for driving business growth by strengthening the existing distribution channel while working closely with product marketing on developing the long-term product strategy in addition to being responsible for governing new product commercialization in the channel, ensuring channel health, adoption of new digital initiatives and driving analytics-driven decision-making.
Key roles and Responsibilities:
- Grow & transform a large BU.
- AOP planning and building roadmap for execution of strategic objectives laying out key milestones & risks
- Liaise with product marketing team to ensure right product architecture, positioning & pricing
- Create key capabilities for the BU - new product commercialization, channel development, adoption of new digital initiatives, driving analytics driven decision-making and trade spend management
- Drive effective governance within BU
- Build and manage the sales team, critical central functions, and other capabilities within the vertical
- Deliver customer insights to manufacturing and marketing team to preserve/ build competitive advantage in the market
Planning and management:
- Achievement of sales revenue and volume
- Ensure robust AOP build with clearly defined set of initiatives and their business upsides
- Review and monitor account trends, forecasts, sales and establish plans for all regions
- Recommend corrective measures and strategy basis historical performance
Team and stakeholder management:
- Collaborate with product marketing team to ensure right product architecture & pricing are achieved
- Coordinate with various functions in the company to ensure alignment with company & BU's annual and long-term strategy
- Ensure digital tools are in place, being adopted to increase sales effectiveness
- Ensure team compliance on key input and output metrics (e.g., coverage and productivity metrics)
- Motivate and train RSMs and other direct line managers to drive cultural around sales analytics, problem solving, digital awareness and prompt execution of administration and commercial responsibilities
- Ensure talent within the team is identified, retained and groomed for future role executions
