Our client is a leading agricultural biotechnology company looking for a candidate who can handle the following responsibilities:
- To drive all India sales & business with special focus on analytical skills & good product knowledge to lead large teams.
- To perform market research and opportunity assessments on new concepts and ideas.
- To develop relevant business proposals.
- To monitor and evaluate the performance of sales team by guiding them to move in proper direction.
- To generate new business relationships and negotiating new revenue for agreed targets.
- To work closely with the team to identify event opportunities.
- To develop and lead the business development team in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities.
- To ensure service delivery management - oversees marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of services.
- To ensure efficient and effective marketing.
Ideal Candidate:
- Should have 10-15 years of experience with Team Head positions from top four companies of agriculture industry in the likes of Monsanto, Syngenta, Bayer, etc. with large business handled.
- Should be from FMCG & Pharma with good domain knowledge.
- Sound commercial skills.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Flexibility, openness to new ideas and multi-tasking.
- Ability to work in a pressured environment.
- Management and leadership knowledge and experience.
- Organisational and leadership skills.
Qualification: B.Sc/ M.Sc in Agriculture & PGDMA/ MBA
