Business Functional Analyst - Financial Reporting
We are hiring for Business Functional Analyst for Financial reporting in a leading bank in Pune location for 8 months contractual role

Education : CA/ Finance or Commerce Graduate/PG / MBA- Finance

Exposure :
- Good understanding of SAP System architecture, GGLrep+
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Fair understanding of Banking domain
Functional Responsibilities :
- Responsible for various financial reporting production activities; key areas of responsibilities listed below
- Preparation and analysis of daily, monthly, quarterly reports around revenue, cost, products etc to be sent across to the senior management. This can be a standard deliverable or on an adhoc basis
- Reconciliation, consolidation of data from various in-house systems and put them into standardized reports
- Business/Entity reporting P&L and BS and other disclosures for PBC entities
- Be a part of various calls with the extended team, business etc
- Improve the process by suggesting efficiency measures across quality, cost or delivery
- The reports would require high degree of accuracy and meeting stringent timelines
- There can be usage of application such as SAS, Qlikview, Hummingbird too.
- Prioritising correctly the business requirements
- Keep all operational guidelines updated and ensure adherence to standards, procedures and also identify plan to mitigate risks where-ever there is a control issue
- Compliance to PSC governance policies and procedures around process maps, standard operating procedures and KPI reporting
- Executing any other tasks delegated by Team manager
- Development/Enhancement of new and existing report.
- Supporting Global Projects
- Identifying missing controls, building controls, identifying integrity and completeness check for the deliverables of the sub team
- Driving the Process thinking in the team to continuously identify process improvement initiatives
Soft Skills :
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral & written)
- Knowing German is not necessary but will be an advantage
- Good analytical / business problem-solving skills
- Well organized & able to clearly present results of work
- Ability to manage own time
- Diligent, thorough, shows initiative and is proactive
- Ability to work under time constraints and handle pressure
- Team Player willingness to pick up any activity in the team on need basis , able to induct new joiners and support them
