Business Finance Role - Revenue/Operations/Category Team - eCommerce

Objective:

To drive financial performance across revenue, category, and operational functions by managing sales targets, optimizing margins, controlling operational costs, and collaborating with business teams to achieve financial and operational goals.

We are hiring for 3 roles in Bisfin - Operations/Category/Revenue

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue and Sales Management:

- Present and co-own sales targets by block/warehouse/location to align with business objectives.

- Manage customer returns and cancellations to maintain revenue integrity.

- Track and analyse demand versus sales achievements to optimize overall revenue performance.

- Oversee incentive programs for field officers to drive and enhance sales performance.

Category Profitability:

- Present category-wise margin views to ensure financial oversight and optimized margin management.

- Conduct commercial analysis on Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) and contracts to ensure financial efficiency.

- Manage inventory days, including slow-moving and non-moving inventory, in collaboration with planners and demand/category teams.

- Review and optimize pricing strategies for categories to maximize profitability.

- Perform pre and post-analysis of new categories to assess financial impact.

- Develop and maintain category-wise consumer profiling for targeted financial strategies.

Operational Cost Management:

- Present and co-own warehouse and operational cost management, including dark stores.

- Analyse vendor contracts to ensure all logistics partner costs align with business needs.

- Conduct pre and post-analysis of new operational initiatives to assess financial outcomes.

- Work closely with operations to optimize warehouse and last-mile logistics costs.

Financial Analysis & Forecasting:

- Develop and review daily procurement, category, and operations KPI dashboards.

- Forecast monthly and weekly COGS, first-mile, mid-mile, warehouse, and last-mile costs, and track variances.

- Manage working capital allocation for various categories in collaboration with category and planning teams.

Business Partnering & Collaboration:

- Collaborate with category, procurement, and operations teams to align financial and operational objectives.

- Provide strategic financial insights and support to achieve business goals.

Qualifications:

- CA or MBA in Finance.

- 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in a similar business finance role.

- Experience in business partnering across sales, category, and operations.

- Advanced skills in Excel and reconciliation.

- Proficiency in SQL/Power BI preferred.

- Flexibility to work 6 days a week, with adaptability to changing business needs.
