Role: Manager - Finance & Accounts

The role requires expert knowledge of financial accounting, accounting standards, corporate laws, preparation of financial statements and financial analysis. The aspirant needs to possess expert technical knowledge, strong communication and leadership skills to lead a team of accounting and finance. Financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and establishing and ensuring strong internal controls on financial reporting are the key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely and accurate accounting as per Ind AS and regulatory requirements

- Preparation of interim and annual financial statements along with Annual Report

- Ensuring statutory compliances related to accounting, RBI returns, direct and indirect taxation, and corporate and applicable laws

- Ensuring timely closure of statutory audit

- Analysis of financial statements, financial planning and analysis, annual budgeting, and review of financial performance against the business plan

- Analysing and suggesting measures to improve branch & corporate profitability

- Meeting data requirements of Equity Investors & Lenders

- Mentoring team on subject matter and motivating and driving highest standards of performance

Education & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 years of experience, preferable in a financial institution.
