About The Company:
ARA's Client is building the world's #1 platform experience for Co-Op and Collaborative Marketing. Platform hosts a comprehensive suite of Apps converging Advertising, Marketing and Demand Planning needs of 1000s of Merchants and Sales Channel Partners for Retailers and Brands respectively. The world of co-op marketing, while being 100+ years old and a $150+ Billion industry as of 2019, is riddled with elementary, archaic and fragmented processes (sometimes non-existent).
The Role:
- As the Business Finance Manager, you'll be a strategic partner in driving the company's financial success across multiple business units and geographies.
- Leading the finance team, you'll own the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, ensuring accurate and insightful financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- You'll support monthly closures, internal audits and fundraise, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to guide sound financial decision-making.
- Your contribution will be pivotal in maintaining robust financial analysis, supporting business growth, streamlining financial processes and ensuring the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Finance Team to drive strategic insights, driving operational and strategic goals while seamlessly connecting multiple business units across global markets
- Steer the ship on budgeting and forecasting, partnering with departments across regions to craft forward-looking financial roadmaps that align with big-picture objectives
- Crunch numbers, spot trends, and flag risks, turning financial data into actionable insights that fuel senior management's decision-making process. Build financial models like a pro, running scenarios to guide pivotal business choices across diverse markets and business units
- Keep your finger on the pulse of KPIs, delivering sharp, insightful reports to leadership that drive the conversation-and the company-forward
- Reinvent financial processes and systems, creating scalable solutions that support rapid growth and streamline operations across different geographies
Skills Required:
- 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, mastering budgets and forecasts
- Expertise in Indian GAAP, Ind AS, and IFRS, with the know-how to keep things sharp across different geographies and business units
- A data-driven mindset, turning complex financials into actionable insights in no time
- A+ communication chops-you can break down the numbers and deliver them with impact, whether it's to the team or the top brass
- Love to take new initiatives, keep in line with the industry trends and want to automate everything possible
- A love for fast-paced environments, and you bring a sense of ownership with a no-excuses attitude
- Prior experience working with leaders, startup experience would be a feather in your hat
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-3 years post qualification
- Qualified CA
