Business Finance Head - Manufacturing

Role Summary:

The Business Finance Head will be responsible for managing the entire revenue side of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and Balance Sheet items, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. This role involves closely collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to drive financial performance, optimize revenue streams, and enhance overall business outcomes. The individual will play a key leadership role in aligning financial objectives with business strategy while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Lead financial planning and analysis for the revenue side of the business, aligning with the company's growth objectives.

- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decisions.

Revenue Management:

- Oversee and optimize revenue streams, ensuring profitability and sustainability.

- Monitor key financial metrics related to sales, margins, and working capital.

P&L and Balance Sheet Oversight:

- Ensure accurate reporting and management of all revenue-related P&L and Balance Sheet items.

- Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain compliance with financial standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration with Sales & Marketing:

- Partner with sales and marketing teams to align financial goals with business strategies.

- Support the design and implementation of pricing, promotions, and sales incentive programs to drive revenue growth.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Provide timely and insightful financial reports to stakeholders, including performance against budget and market trends.

- Identify risks and opportunities in revenue management and recommend actionable solutions.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.

- 8-12 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in a PE-backed or manufacturing environment.

- Proven track record of managing P&L and driving revenue growth.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, with a focus on cross-functional teamwork.
