- Contribute to the company's business growth and expansion plans while leveraging key business development skills with commercial & industrial clients in solar industry.
- Ensure healthy deal pipeline, leading customer conversations, and closing deals.
- The position will be supported by strong mid-level business development experts who are expert in identifying opportunities and lead generation.
- Represent the organization in front of the client from contact to negotiation to handing over to the project team.
- Identify the relevant sectors in the C&I space who the company should strategize to expand in.
- Advise the leadership team in appropriate strategic initiatives using your market knowledge and competitive understanding. Play a pivotal role in execution of these strategies on ground.
- Track the relevant regulatory changes that can affect the business and pivot the plans accordingly.
- 12-20 years of relevant experience in sales and business development in renewable energy
- Experience of leading end-to-end sales to C&I clients
- Ability to identify opportunities and chase them
- Good at both hunting and farming of accounts
- Ability to lead a team while also coordinating with different functions
- Great communication and stakeholder engagement skills
