SENIOR ADVISOR, ICT INDUSTRY, India (New Delhi, export/trade promotion) We are looking for a Senior Advisor to advance Finnish business in India. In this role, you will join Business Finland's Global Growth service area. You will be based in New Delhi. YOUR ROLE :&nbsp; - In India in particular we have identified Digitalization and ICT as one of our focus industries, where opportunities exist for exports by Finnish companies. Your main responsibility will be enabling Finnish companies- success in their internationalization efforts in the India within ICT industry. &nbsp;You will be responsible for: - Promoting exports of Finnish companies to Indian market, helping Finnish companies grow in the country - Advising and guiding Finnish SMEs in their internationalization plans, actions and possible challenges in your market - Identifying business opportunities and sales leads for Finnish companies in the area - Offering beneficial services or solutions that address the customer's needs - Creating functional networks in the country - Working closely with Team Finland members in the region, like the Finnish Embassy colleagues in New Delhi. - Actively cooperating and communicating with BF stakeholders (such as other countries as well as program managers and account leads in Finland) - Tracking, analyzing and reporting results using agreed tools and processes - You will get an opportunity to work in a fast moving and truly global organization, offering you a unique view into both Finnish and Indian markets and business environments with a wide global perspective. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: - Ability to understand future business models and opportunities - Capability to understand the specificities, possibilities and risks of the Indian market, including in innovation, technology cooperation, IPR and technology transfer - Minimum 10 years of industry experience preferably in ICT industry and sales and/or consultancy and/or trade promotion - Understanding of local business environment and culture - Established networks with Indian conglomerates and large ICT companies - B-to-B sales skills and ability to build and work with local business networks, experts and partners. - Good negotiation and project management skills with a track record you are proud of - Good command of office and digital tools (CRM, MS Office etc.) - Possibility to travel within India and to Finland - Higher education from a relevant field We also expect that you are a persistent person who thinks big, gets excited, and shows passion.
