Functional Requirements: - Solid understanding and experience of how industrial sugar products are bought in the US / SE Asia markets. - Should be well versed in Natural and Artificial sweeteners - technical aspects, manufacturing process, how these are used in various food segments, merits/drawbacks w.r.t one another - Should have a detailed understanding of sweetener requirements of an industry like Bakery/Beverages/Other - unsolved customer problems, procurement costs and processes, supply sources, how products are used individually and together to solve business needs, - Candidates must have a sharp eye for potential new alternatives, recent shifting trends. - More than 10 years experience in selling such products in either of the regions. - Should have a track record of building and scaling a demand pipeline in the region, with a minimum annual turn over of &gt; 30 containers across all products. May be &gt; 10 MT / month. - This will be an IC role to start with. Hence, the candidate should have the proven track record of navigating through ambiguity and building a function on his own. - Culture and Temperament Fit - Startups are dynamic. The candidate should have the ability to adapt to various changing needs of building this function and hence should be able to demonstrate the same in his experience. - We are NOT looking for people who want to switch jobs for a salary increment.
