- Contribute to the fulfilment of the hydropower strategic targets in close collaboration with existing hydropower development team through identifying, securing, and developing new project opportunities.
- Develop appropriate bidding/business development strategies to acquire new projects
- Lead the project development and management efforts to oversee the entire project lifecycle and ensure a smooth execution and commissioning
- Represent the organization's interests in front of various stakeholders- regulatory bodies, government, customers, global management team, commercial bodies, etc.
- Recruit, develop and mentor the hydro power team to support all the acquired projects
- 10+ years total relevant experience in business development and/or project finance/operations and renewable energies in deal structure, project development and/or sales
- Previous experience in business origination, negotiation, policy/regulatory advisory, team management, project management, land acquisition
- Understanding of Power Purchase Agreements, grid connections, permitting requirements, M&A processes, project finance and financial modelling
- Good communication skills
