Currently, we are looking to fill a vacancy in Government and Public Sector business development & advisory for a AgriTech related projects in Agriculture sector.
- The role requires rich experience in Agriculture sector in India
- Candidate needs to work on business development, consulting & advisory services with hands on experience of understanding & drafting of RFP, RFQ, EOI, concept notes and thought leadership paper development in Agriculture sector
Business development
- Identify, structure, and lead programs to engage with key Institutional stakeholders in Agri sector in India.
- Develop high quality concept notes, proposals and responses to RFPs for Government and funded projects. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
- Generating sales funnel for various services/ products offered by the company using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company unique selling proposition and differentiation in Prospects in Corporates or in the Government sector
- Develop, implement, and execute regional, national and local level specific government affairs strategies
- Responsible for an end-to-end sales process which involves; lead generation, cold calling, meeting clients, prospecting, customer on boarding, and finally overseeing excellent after sales services and handling team
- Work with top management, business team and technical team to foster government relationships and a favorable policy environment that supports the company's business goals.
- Participate in internal/ external meetings, events and conferences, and drive social engagement on key issues. Represent the company from a government affairs perspective, gather intelligence and identify engagement opportunities.
- Act as a subject matter expert on policy & regulatory matters in Agri, Food & Feed domains and provide expert thought leadership using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.
- Develop methodologies, develop viewpoint on key issues/ sectors/ projects, research or white papers and support development of marketing collateral's, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
Skills:
- Ability to handle client relationship independently
- Open to travel in assigned geographical areas as per the requirements
- Excellent Team Building/ Handling experience, possess leadership skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Management from premium institute will be preferable with masters in relevant field.
- Experience of leading project management consultancy assignment for government or private sector. Prior experience of consultancy firm will be preferred.
- Should be well versed with all the latest/ flagship schemes, programs of Central and State govt. in areas of Agriculture, Food, Food processing, etc.
