Dr Reddy's is looking to forge strategic alliances with major Pharma players in key emerging markets such as China, Russia and Brazil and major pharma MNCs. The broad vision is to enable Pan Dr. Reddy's leverage of "all" capabilities and endowments to these select company. For the same, we are looking for a driven and impact oriented individual to help strategize, set up and scale this business from scratch supporting local country team on BD and strategy related efforts. This is a high visibility role, which shall lead to creation of a new revenue stream for the company.

Experience and skills :

1. At least 4-5 years of work experience - Experience at prestigious consulting firms such as Big 4, Mckinsey, BCG, Bain as a generalist strategy consultant, or in corporate development and M&A/corporate strategy team at a major Indian company/MNC

2. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated business impact in previous experience at work

3. Business acumen to evaluate companies, and understand and build strategies - some experience in strategy projects shall be great. Should have good understanding of basics of corporate finance, e.g. elements of P&L, various methods of valuation etc.

4. Strong written and oral communication skills

5. Strong drive and process management skills to ensure speed in value creation

6. Strong stakeholder and relationship management; Should have ability to influence stakeholders across levels and resolve conflicts

7. Past experience/exposure in Pharma sector is a plus but not a must have.

Educational qualifications :


1. MBA from Tier 1 Institute - IIMs, ISB, FMS and/or

2. Undergrad from IITs, CAs

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation - Leverage strong business acumen to understand partner strategy and design our offering

- Accordingly, help region lead define strategy to select partners, customize offerings and reach-out to partners (including strategies to influence)

- Co-execute on the strategy with region lead, to generate tangible leads

2. Lead Conversation - Help strategize and co-drive partner conversations with region lead, building strong independent relationships with partners

- Leverage stakeholder management and influencing skills to Help convert the conversations into tangible opportunities by enabling collaboration of region lead with CFTs (e.g. IPDO, MSAT, External manufacturing team, Aurigene etc.)

- Help debottlenecking and resolving ambiguities to drive initiatives forward leveraging conflict management and problem solving skills

3.Program management - Leverage strong process management and problem solving skills to:

- Drive periodic check-ins with region leads and CFTs to move forward with the opportunity as per timelines

- Provide strategic oversight to process manage, course correct, repurpose wherever needed

- Drive governance process to have periodic reviews and problem solving done with senior management

- Co-drive partner conversations with region lead to enable deal closures
