Urgent Requirements || Business Development Manager || Pharma Company || Pan India ( East, West, North

I have Urgent Requirements in Pharma Company for the Position of "Business Development Manager"

Location: Pan India (All State) (Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore)

Salary Up to 6 LPA+ Incentive

Responsibilities:

- Sell Company products and services in the amounts required to meet or exceed assigned territory sales targets thereby maintaining and constantly improving the Company's competitive position.

- Work with established Company customers within an assigned territory to best utilize Company products and services for the greatest value to customers and their patients. Value to customers includes the following areas: Clinical, Financial, Quality, and Reliability in products and services.

- Prospect for new customers who will gain the greatest potential utilization and benefit from Company products and services. Identify therapies practiced in accounts, wherein Company products can be sold. Also assist doctors, paramedical staff and other hospital staff to develop and implement protocols where company products can be used on a routine basis in specific therapies.

- Consistently work to improve personal knowledge and sales skills to become of greater value to current and potential customers and to the organization.

- Maintain accurate and up to date records of business dealings within assigned territory, and submit required reports to the Area/Zonal Business Manager in a timely and accurate manner. Reports include, but are not limited to territory customer records, sales & stock updates and forecasts, weekly expense reports, monthly reports, and annual business plans.

- Responsible for assigned territory's success or failure in terms of the Company's reputation and achievement of top line sales objectives.

- Within established Company policies and procedures incumbent must use extensive creative decision making and planning skills in order to accomplish goals. However, incumbent is accountable for final sales results and favourable revenue:expense ratio of their assigned territory.

- Proactively monitors amount receivables from distributors & customers, and takes appropriate action to maintain a healthy credit control scenario in the assigned territory.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Science or paramedical field). At least 2 years sales experience in the healthcare domain (preferably with some experience in medical devices or interacting with anesthesiologists & intensivists).

- Proven expert prospecting, selling and negotiating skills in the medical device or related industry, including networking and partnering.

- Knowledge of medical device or related industry sales and marketing policies and procedures, and an understanding of customer business.

- Computer skills for practical use with Email, PowerPoint, word processing and spreadsheets.

- Training skills required to effectively train customers and demonstrate Company products and services.

- Effective and creative customer problem solving skills.

- Proven effective verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

- Demonstrated analytical and financial skills to identify patterns and draw conclusions from data and correlate data with business needs.

Abilities:

- Ability to use imagination and inventiveness to generate novel ideas, approaches and/or solutions that will enhance Company profitability.

- Ability to quickly adapt and respond to job environmental and industry changes.

- Ability to appropriately deal with success and setbacks.

- Ability to handle and work under stressful situations.

- Ability to use communication methods and strategies that influence desired results.

- Ability to establish and maintain credibility, trust, and positive relationships.

- Ability to utilize education and support materials effectively

- Ability to effectively manage assigned territory in terms of strategic planning, organization skills, sales forecasting, goal setting, and profitability.

Planning and Decision Making:

- Direction is generally stated in terms of goals or objectives taking several weeks or months to achieve.

Impact and Scope:

- In that this is a very visible position to our customers, competitors, and the general public any unethical or unreliable actions could seriously affect the Company's reputation, public relations, and ultimately sales and profitability.

- Erroneous judgment, strategic planning, decisions and/or recommendations could result in loss of sales and failure to achieve critical goals.

- Failure to react on a timely basis to changing market conditions could result in the loss of current customers, prospective customers and loss of sales.

- Defective strategy in forecasting stock & sales could result in excessive manufacturing and inventory costs, decreased profits, and misappropriation of revenues.

- Represents the Company to its present and potential customers in an ethical and consistently reliable manner.
