Job Brief :

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Corporate Development Manager to a new Business Vertical . In this role, you will have the opportunity to create a strong business impact while learning in-depth about the wealth management industry in India.

Inorganic Growth is an important pillar of growth. It plays a crucial role in our mission of enabling a million Indian families to achieve financial nirvana. We are scouting for medium to large independent financial advisors who have strong customer relationships but face challenges in scaling the business. We acquired multiple such companies in the last year and have a plan to grow it multi fold. You will be entrusted with building the pipeline and managing the acquisition process. To succeed in the role, you will have to develop a strong understanding of the wealth management industry and its constituents in India. You may also be required to work on other strategic initiatives from time to time.

Responsibilities :

- Build the pipeline of medium to large Independent Financial Advisors in India

- Engage with proprietors / business owners of these IFAs and generate interest

- Create valuation model based for IFAs based on customer revenue, LTV, etc

- Negotiate and close commercial contracts

- Evangelize in relevant industry events and forums to attract potential advisors

- Establish processes to seamlessly integrate incoming customers

- Establish processes to absorb incoming employees

- Run strategic initiatives for growth of the company

The Ideal Candidate will have :

- Any Graduate /MBA from a leading business school

- 3 - 8 years of experience working in fast-pace Corporate Development / Business Development / Investment Banking / Consulting environments

- Growth orientation

- Comfort engaging with business owners

- Stakeholder Management & Project Management skills

- Understanding of Wealth Management industry is a big plus
