Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will own the data-driven outbound sales motion focused on the US/North American market, manage a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and lead execution across strategy, operations, coaching, and campaign design.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Operations

- Define 3/6/9-month roadmaps and lead generation goals

- Set and track input/output metrics and refine team incentives

- Monitor BDR performance and funnel health across campaigns

- Collaborate with Founders and Growth Head to refine sales strategy

- Design and execute outreach experiments for enterprise accounts

Team Leadership

- Hire, onboard, coach, and manage a team of 5-7 BDRs

- Lead sales floor operations: daily reviews, call analysis, objection handling

- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and team-building initiatives

- Optimize team productivity across tools, processes, and channels

- Drive CRM adoption and reporting hygiene

Campaign Management

- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, call, LinkedIn)

- Create lookalike campaigns targeting existing ICPs

- Iterate messaging based on data insights and response rates

Tools & Automation

- Tech stack includes: Hubspot, Outplay, Clay, FullEnrich, Sales Navigator, Tracxn, Ocean, G2, Phantom Buster, GPT, Lavender, Mailmeteor

- Drive automation-first initiatives across outbound workflows

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 4-7 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or business development targeting the US/North America market

- 2+ years of experience managing a team of 4+ BDRs

- Prior experience as an outbound BDR/SDR with cold-calling exposure

- Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills

- Hands-on with CRM and sales engagement platforms

- High ownership, self-driven, and thrives in early-stage environments

- Willingness to work in overlapping hours with US time zones

- First-principles thinker with a user-centric approach to sales
