Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire Business Development Manager - Semiconductor and Electronics Sector for Bangalore location
Scope of Work:
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to gain insights into the semiconductor and electronics market segments and target audience.
- Identify and assess new growth opportunities within the semiconductor and electronics sector.
- Conduct thorough research on market conditions, including emerging trends and competitor analysis.
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies to capitalize on identified opportunities.
- Devise and evaluate methods for data collection, ensuring the acquisition of relevant market insights.
- Implement and monitor the effectiveness of the go-to-market plan, making adjustments as necessary.
- Analyze the success or failure potential of target markets based on the progress of implemented strategies.
- Generate new contacts within the semiconductor and electronics sector and convert leads into actionable opportunities.
- Develop both short-term and long-term plans, approaches, and strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain a robust sales funnel specific to the semiconductor and electronics segment.
- Drive growth within the allocated semiconductor and electronics markets.
- Assist in developing and executing marketing plans tailored to the semiconductor and electronics sector.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
KPIs:
- Growth of sales funnel within the semiconductor and electronics sector.
- Number of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) generated.
- Development of Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships within the semiconductor and electronics industry.
- Achievement of sales revenue targets in the Semiconductor and Electronics focus sector, with a focus on growth markets.
- Number of won orders from key accounts within the semiconductor and electronics sector.
- Number of planned and executed marketing activities.
- Number of new application assets developed (presentations, flyers, etc.).
Experience & Skills:
- Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Physics, or a relevant field of study.
- Experience in Semiconductor/Electronics product development or Failure Analysis using SEM, FIB, or other microscopy techniques is essential.
- Strong network in the semiconductor and electronics community is preferred.
- Experience in strategic product marketing or sales with hi-tech instrumentation is a plus.
- Excellent communication of technical information.
- Team player with good communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Familiarity with sales processes and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Possess a combination of strategic vision, analytical acumen, and strong relationship-building capabilities to drive business growth and market expansion within this high-potential industry segment.
