Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target industries to understand their business needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and campaigns to generate leads and drive revenue growth.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of our products or services.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results using CRM software.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market insights.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Mentor and train junior members of the business development team as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales or business development, with at least 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
