Job Description: Business Development Manager for PR Media Firm
The Candidate will be responsible for:
- Actively increasing client portfolio through targeted sales activities
- Actively maintaining and strengthening high-level of repeat contracts
- Developing Communication proposals tailored to Prominence Marketing Group policy priorities and PR strategies of major industry consultancies
- Advising clients on their communication needs and ensuring they receive quality services best suited to these
- International Business Development within PR / Marketing / Communications Agencies
- Develop a sales plan to meet individual contributor quota targets
- Conduct Business Development activities to meet quota targets
- Identifying target accounts
- Designing and implementing campaigns to penetrate these accounts
- Drive the sales cycle to ensure client wins - prospecting, presentations, proposals, negotiations, etc.
- Ensure overall deal closure and account growth
- Account/Relationship management to grow revenue in key accounts
Qualifications
- Strong background in fields such as PR consultancy and/or association management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong interest in the media and internet
- Excellent coordination and management skills
- Good team management skills and team player
- Interest in partnership-type perspective, with 'independent' compensation + incentives
