Description - Work with one of the larges plastic manufacturing firms in the country to lead the business development efforts in North India
- Work on developing and servicing key accounts in the FMCG and Pharma space with a high focus on quality output
Client Details :
The client is a manufacturer of rigid plastics packaging predominantly for the FMCG sector. With over a dozen manufacturing plants across the country, the company clocks an yearly revenue of more than 500 Cr annually. Their multi-location manufacturing sites gives them a strong competitive edge. With about 250 state of art machines across technologies, they are the preferred business partners for end-to-end project management. To supplement their core existing customers, the company has also pursued opportunities in adjacent customer segments like pharmaceuticals, electronics, paints, lubricants, etc.
Job Description :
- Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract customers
- Research prospective customers, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
- Getting RFQs or participate in bidding process, onboarding them and then continuously maintain relationship with them to expand business.
- Address all grievance of customers as regards distribution, delivery, price and quality. In short, be a one stop solution for the customer
- Should be able to interact within the rest of the organisation and different functions to enable smooth co-ordination.
- Attending conferences and industry events.
- Contribute to the reputation of the organization by entering and achieving professional awards.
Profile:
Functional:
- Understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on customer requirements
- Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical, in a clear and concise manner
- Should have techno commercial capability
- Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Comfortable using computer for various tasks.
Technical:
- Preferable qualified Plastic Engineer with MBA
- Experienced in B2B business for 12 to 15 years
- Should have developed customer for at least Rs 125 Cr business over a period of 3 years
- Experience preferably with Plastic industry where he or she is aware of EBM, IBM, IM, ISBM, etc and customers in FMCG and other industries
