Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets and expand the client base.
- Identify potential clients in target industries and geographic regions through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in prospective client organizations.
- Understand client needs and pain points related to payroll processing and develop customized solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support, marketing, and operations, to deliver comprehensive client proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections using CRM software.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and regulatory changes affecting payroll outsourcing services.
-Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the sales function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the payroll outsourcing or HR services industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable sales plans.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving results.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
