- Our platform www.flexingit.com is an online marketplace that connects organisations to professionals and expertise on an - on-demand- basis for projects, consulting assignments, advisory roles and part-time resource needs using an intelligent heuristic, FlexScore- .

- Our aim is to be the biggest platform for freelancing and project-based work for higher-end skills, leveraged by millions of independent professionals and organisations that need their skills. Our proposition for professionals is the ability to craft a great portfolio of work at the pace they want. For organisations, Flexing It- is a great way to obtain skilled resources for the duration and intensity needed. We provide a mechanism to access real skills while retaining a nimble and flexible cost structure.

Our journey so far :

- The beta version of the interface went live in India by the end of 2012, followed shortly thereafter by a fully functional, refined platform. Since then we have successfully built a strong community of: - 16,000+ professionals drawn from top-tier educational and corporate institutions including IIMs, IITs, ISB,Harvard, Stanford, MIT and Wharton

- 1500+ companies, ranging from MNCs to investors to exciting start-ups to research/professional services firms, are leveraging our platform to access quality independent consultants.

- At Flexing It, we seek to differentiate ourselves through our focus on project-based work, strong quality controls, custom-built, patented matching algorithm FlexScoreTM and marquee clients. Some of the projects posted on our platform include go-to-market strategy formulation, market research, product development, project management, valuations and financial modelling, talent acquisition support, fundraising support.

- Manager, Business Development & Client Support

- We are aggressively scaling-up at Flexing It and are looking for a Manager, BD & Client support to support us in building out the franchise and grow the demand side, i.e., pool of quality projects and assignments on the platform.

Some of the qualities we would look for are :

- Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit

- Solid analytical and problem solving skills

- Proficient with MS Excel and Power Point

- Minimum 2+ years of work experience in consulting or business development

- Superlative communication and inter-personal skills

- Personal and professional integrity

Key responsibilities :

- Developing and managing the outreach strategy across various segments of corporate users i.e., MNCs, start-ups, investors. Developing targeted value propositions for various segments of corporate users

- Manage end to end operations for SuperFlex and other premium models (e.g., Expert on Call), which will include understanding the requirement of organisations, database search, query handling and agreement closure for key client accounts

- Conduct weekly analysis of platform usage by companies to determine key issues / insights and suggest actions with regards to the roles posted. Weekly follow-ups with key clients and developing client relationships

- Staying up-to-date about any upcoming relevant events, conferences and seminars, attending the same.

- Attending meetings with the CEO and independently, pitching the concept, managing follow-up, and making sure potential users- questions are answered

- Support in design of key strategic initiatives through analytics and primary research and curation of the company side of the platform

- Thinking through and initiating discussions for strategic partnerships e.g., industry associations, universities

- Managing his/her BD pipeline - tracking communications, success rates, etc

- Refine the company outreach strategy jointly with the CEO and Marketing teams based on data on skills, usage patterns, success rates for different types of roles and organisations
