As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth via new business development and fostering long term client relationships. This is a pure hunting role.
Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospects face-to-face, and effectively presenting our offerings.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in B2B outbound sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working in a startup environment.
One of the key requirements for this position entails extensive travel across India, with the base located in Hyderabad, India. A demonstrated history of successfully closing deals through face-to-face meetings would be a valuable asset.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential B2B clients, understanding their business needs, and positioning our products/services as solutions to address their challenges.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations with prospects to showcase our offerings and understand their specific requirements.
- Should be able to effectively communicate with CXOs
- Should be able to own the assigned revenue target and should be consistent in achieving quarterly targets.
- Work closely with the product and technical teams to tailor solutions and proposals to meet client needs.
- Handle contract negotiations and be responsible for closing and delivering on targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective lead generation strategies and support sales initiatives to maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and execute sales plans, including setting sales targets, forecasting, and monitoring performance metrics. Provide regular sales reports, market insights, and feedback to the management team.
- Proactively explore new market segments and business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide strategic input and ensure competitiveness.
