Designation : Business Development Manager

Job Location : Chennai/Bangalore

Experience : 6 to 11 years

Purpose :

Candidate would be accountable to maintain existing client accounts and enhance clientele by bringing in new client accounts, increase the sales performance of Branch and work continuously towards excelling the branch budget with available resources and set standards for selling and customer support.

Principal Accountabilities:

Sales Related:

- Achieve volume and revenue budget for all verticals

- Ensure that you are fully aware of CRM and that you adhere to procedures for Sales as defined in QP 700/700-8/700-9/700-10 of the Quality Handbook.

- Ensure creation of a general Customer SOPs to enhance service levels for our customers

- Strict usage of CRM for all sales activity processes.

- Ensure Opportunity Manager is updated with relevant details .

- Analyze CRM data and give constructive feedback to SM/ BM to enable improve business

- Monitoring KTL Budgets Vs Actuals every month and to discuss the same with sales team /BM

- Ensure smooth & good business relationship with all network offices

- Derive local sales strategies and work towards enhancement of market penetration and market share across all verticals .

- Ensure job profitability is achieved through active consultation with Manager - Airfreight & Sea freight.

- Focus on opportunities and evolve strategies for enhancement of Project Logistics business,

- Manage credit approvals as per prescribed limits and credit lines in line with Global KPIs .

- Facilitate Annual Sales Review Meet

General :

- Escalate to SM /BM in the event of any Claims and Cargo discrepancies per prescribed procedures QP 300

- Represent Company in trade related meetings at the location basis instructions from BM / Director-Sales

- To have awareness of the EDI enterprise of job handling.
