Job Description
The Business Development Manager for Enterprise Sales plays a critical role in driving growth and revenue within our enterprise segment. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing strategic business opportunities with large-scale enterprise clients. Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, the Business Development Manager will lead efforts to prospect, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts. Leveraging a deep understanding of the enterprise landscape, industry trends, and our company's value proposition, you will develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Success in this role requires a proactive and results-driven approach, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to deliver exceptional value to our enterprise clients. Job Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential enterprise clients in need of EAP services. This includes understanding industry trends, organizational challenges, and competitor offerings.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads within target enterprise organizations, including HR departments, benefits administrators, and executive leadership.
- Building Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within enterprise clients, including HR directors, benefits managers, and C-suite executives.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive needs assessments with potential clients to understand their specific requirements and challenges related to employee mental health, wellbeing, and productivity.
- Solution Presentation: Develop and deliver tailored presentations and proposals that highlight the benefits of EAP services and demonstrate how they can address the unique needs of each enterprise client.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements with enterprise clients, ensuring that contracts are mutually beneficial and align with the organization's objectives.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline, including tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systems, and providing regular updates to management.
- Industry Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients, stay informed about industry developments, and represent the organization within the EAP community.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovations in EAP services to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement in sales strategies and tactics.
