Business Development Manager
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for setting up new business in identified African Regions
- Develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing,
- Drive sales by building business partnerships and dealer network
- Lead generation and responding to RFPs/ tenders Managing the entire sales life cycle, starting from prospecting through closure.
- Develop and build sales pipeline to ensure sales targets
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
- Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
- Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
- Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
- Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Skills :
Should have :
- Extensively worked for African Market into Agri/ Cold Storage / Solar and Energy Access Products
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
- Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
- Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
An Ideal Candidate :
- 8-10 years of experience in a senior-level sales and/or marketing position.
- Eligible to work full time in Africa (African resident )
- In depth understanding of agriculture
- Agricultural/ rural marketing and sales for high ticket products
- Customer financing experience through govt. support/ banks/ CSR
- Preferably Indian Ethinic
