Job Purpose :
The Business Development Manager will develop relationships within target customer to penetrate organization and open doors to new business opportunities throughout India. The ideal candidate will deploy domestic account strategy in agreement with Management in order to achieve aims and objectives set for EDS.
Nature of Duties :
- Develop new customers for Technosoft - Electronics Design Services.
- Accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenues targets set by Management.
- Identify, qualify and close new business in line with set quotas and engage appropriate resources from cross-functional teams to ensure successful business execution.
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business and design needs
- Own and manage related RFQs and act as prime in ensuring timely response delivery and feed information back into Management in support of developing Business Plans.
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Regularly update sales tool with customer data, new opportunity logs and call plans.
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electronics/Computer Science/SW Engineering
- 10+ years sales, commercial experience successfully exceeding quota
- Must have prior experience selling electronics design services especially in the North America market
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software
- Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
