Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Business Development, you will define, negotiate and close partnership deals across the U.S.
- Prior experience partnering with US companies is a plus
- Create new collaboration opportunities and actively pitch this to prospects.
- Manage strategic partnerships with affiliate partners
- Operate effectively with external partners ranging from large platforms that have freelancers as their key audience to small affiliate partners
- Partner cross-functionally with Content, Marketing, Legal, Finance and Engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, advocate internally for partners and educate on industry norms.
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of experience working in business development, partnership or equivalent function role.
- Bachelor's from Tier 1 Colleges
- MBA is a strong plus, but not required
- Strong sales and deal-closing orientation; pursuing deals until they are closed
- Passion for details, efficiency, and organization
- Some experience working in a cross-border environment.
