Business Development Manager - Consumer Electronics (Africa)
Mandatory experience of consumer electronics & African Market required
Salary - Upto 15 Lacs
Principal Responsibility:
1. Setting up distribution network and establishing brand in Africa for consumer electronics and home appliance products. (LED- s, AC, REF, Chest Freezer, Washing Machine, Microwave Oven, Gas Cooker etc.)
2. Identifying & developing new streams for long-term revenue growth and maintaining relationships with customers to achieve repeat/ referral business.
3. Pricing negotiation, retail distribution, inventory management across the distributors & retail stores.
4. Spearheading complete CEHA business in the assigned country with profitability management, forecasting monthly/ annual sales targets, & executing them in a given timeframe.
5. Tapping new markets geographically and coordinating with partners to penetrate CEHA segments, as well as launching product portfolio with innovative products.
6. Manage yearly budgets, quarterly sales promotions with dealer partners network & contract negotiations with modern trades/Hypermarkets.
7. Build strategies for Business Planning, Sales Management, Market Research, Account Management, and Business development.
8. Conducting market analysis to understand competition and facilitating the formulation of strategies to counter competition.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 4 to 10 years experience in Africa is must, work in Consumer electronics & home appliance sales & marketing will be a benefit.
- Working in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, South Africa, Cote dlvoire will be added advantage.
- CEHA industry-specific is not our focus, but if we get it, then its benefit.
- Active in travelling throughout Africa. And must have such background in earlier assignments.
- Initiative taker with the ability to build the team.
- Good communication skills in English.
