Job Summary:-

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join Gopal Chopra & Associates (GCA), a reputable Chartered Accountancy Firm established in 1991. GCA has built a strong reputation for trust, value addition, and quality in the industry. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the firm's growth and expanding its presence in both national and international markets. Your ability to leverage GCA's extensive experience, services, and expert human resources will be key to successfully acquiring new clients and fostering long-term relationships.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market segments where GCA's services, including Audit & Assurance, International Taxation, Domestic Taxation, Outsourcing, System Risk Management, IT Security & ERP Review, Start-up Services, and Corporate Advisory & Secretarial Services, can add value. Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand GCA's client base.

2. Develop and implement business development strategies: Collaborate with the partners and senior management at GCA to develop and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with the firm's growth objectives. Set ambitious targets and establish measurable KPIs to track success.

3. Cultivate strategic partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, industry associations, business networks, and referral partners. Leverage these partnerships to generate leads, referrals, and collaborative opportunities.

4. Lead client acquisition efforts: Utilize GCA's extensive experience and service offerings to engage prospective clients, understand their unique needs, and propose tailored solutions. Conduct consultative selling, negotiate contracts, and secure new client engagements.

5. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline: Proactively identify and pursue leads in both national and international markets. Use CRM systems to track leads, manage the sales process, and ensure timely follow-up. Prioritize opportunities to maximize conversion rates and maintain a steady flow of new business.

6. Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with GCA's partners, senior management, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, effective service delivery, and high client satisfaction. Foster a collaborative environment to leverage the expertise and capabilities of the firm's human resources.

7. Stay updated on industry trends: Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging business challenges within the chartered accountancy industry. Continuously update knowledge to identify new business opportunities and adapt business development strategies accordingly.

8. Measure and report on business development activities: Establish KPIs to track and evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts. Regularly report progress to partners and senior management, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:-

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in business development, preferably within the professional services sector, with a strong understanding of the chartered accountancy industry.

- Excellent know-how in Assurance, International Taxation, Domestic Taxation, Outsourcing, System Risk Management, IT Security & ERP Review, Start-up Services, and Corporate Advisory & Secretarial Services.

- Demonstrated track record of success in acquiring new clients and meeting or exceeding business development targets.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities with a keen understanding of the Indian business landscape.

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

2-3 year experience

- Worked for Advisory Firms in a BD Role

- Worked for a Financial Services/CA firm in the subject role

- Worked in an entity where involved in Customer Acquisition of other corporate for his/her employer

Retired/Semi-retired Professional

- Banker/Private Banker/Relationship manager
