We are looking for a Business Development Manager for a Global B2B Event, Exhibitions and Conference Platform.
Job Profile:
Business Development:.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients through networking, cold calling, and market research.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and propose tailored solutions to meet client objectives.
Sales Strategy and Planning:.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and lead generation activities.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Client Relationship Management:.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Act as the main point of contact for key clients and address their inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to showcase company products and services.
Sales Negotiation and Closure:.
- Lead negotiations and close sales agreements with prospective clients.
- Prepare and present sales contracts, proposals, and quotations.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Team Collaboration:.
- Coordinate sales efforts with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Requirements:.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in B2B sales or related industry.
- Events, Exhibitions & Conferences experience preferred.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
