Job Opportunity : Business Development role
Reports to : Country Head
Location : Thane, Mumbai
The role will provide complete support to team to achieve sales and set its foothold in India, by seeking and acquiring new business.
Currently, we are actively seeking sales persons to be based at Mumbai for rapid expansion.
Roles and Responsibilities : Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following :
- Work with the Country-Head in the planning and implementation of the agreed business development and sales programe.
- Reach out to prospective clients across various industries as per profile-of-the-client defined, arrange & attend meetings and follow up as required.
- Concept Sell - raising awareness of the benefits or unique selling points of company products, more importantly understanding areas of the target customer's procurement function that can be dramatically improved by utilizing company products, services or solution
- Provide requisite sales support at various levels, including developing a business proposition, participating in meetings / presentations, sales conversion and extended support.
- Have a clear understanding of all products/services offered by the company.
- Input in to Unique Selling Point (USP) Concept
- Work with colleagues in Business Development to ensure the budgets and proposal documents are completed in the best way to meet the potential customers' requirements.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding agreed targets.
- Take responsibility for updating the relevant sales reports, including customer contact reports.
- Encourage the development of new business in every way.
- Provide some support for both implementation and after product go-live for these clients.
- Research the market and related products;
- Present the product or service in a structured professional way face to face
- Gathering market and customer information;
- Represent company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
- Adopt a team selling approach in seeking business from potential customers.
Personal Skills :
- Must have strong interpersonal and networking skill.
- Adequate experience of handling and successfully closing business sales.
- Should be a Team player and be able to integrate with the sales team.
- An aggressive personality, driven by performance would be a good fit for this role.
Communication :
- Ensure politeness and courtesy at all times to colleagues and clients.
- Be able to communicate verbally in a clear, concise and business like way to the audience.
- Ensure all written communications are presented in a professional manner ensuring grammar, spelling and format is appropriate for the recipient and purpose.

- Ensure problems that arise are dealt with and solutions found to ensure delivery to clients.

- Demonstrate ability to make decisions both independently and collaboratively, having first evaluated all options. Support decisions with factual information.
