JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of a Business Development Manager (DTSS) in the Process Industry involves a range of responsibilities aimed at driving business growth within the specific context of the process industry i.e Oil & Gas; Metal Mining, Power, WWW. DTSS stands for "Digital Transformation Solutions & Services" is a Sub-Business Vertical under Automation Business Unit. DTSS SBU key objective is to Identify & deliver use cases for Manufacturing Industry using IOT & AR Technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and market trends.

- Analyse industry data and market conditions to identify new business Use Cases.

2. Lead Qualification:

- Qualify Lead following MEDDICC best practices.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective lead generation campaigns.

3. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

- Understand clients' needs and requirements and provide them with tailored solutions.

- Act as a liaison between the client and the internal teams to ensure smooth communication and project execution.

4. Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.

- Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into customers and expand the customer base.

5. Product and Service Knowledge:

- Stay informed about the company's products and services as well as industry-specific solutions.

- Educate clients on the benefits and features of the company's offerings.

- Provide technical assistance and support when needed.

6. Strategic Planning:

- Develop and execute strategic plans for business growth.

- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance business development processes.

7. Use case Identification:

- Work with principle account & Consultant from the Industry to Identify the best accepted use case.

- Provide feedback to internal teams based on client interactions to enhance products and services.

8. Continuous Learning:

- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive offerings.

- Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

1. Core Understanding of any of the following Manufacturing Industry:

a. Metal (Prefer)

b. Oil & Gas

c. WWW

2. Understanding of OT System Such as PLC/HMI/SCADA of an Manufacturing Industry.

3. Familiarity of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.

4. Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices.

5. Excellent understanding of IT-OT integration.

6. Understanding of IOT Use case for Manufacturing Industry.

7. Understand, Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.

8. Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.

9. Implement effective sales methodologies and best practices.

10. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE

Graduate or Postgraduate with a Field Experience of 10+ Years in any of the following Engineering Field:

- Electronics & Communication

- Information Technology

- Computer Science

- Proven experience as a Sales Manager.

- Strong understanding of automation technologies and their applications.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
