Job Description
We are looking for an experienced business development professional, highly motivated to work in high growth environment, and motivated by - concept selling- to brands and monetising the business through various channels/avenues.
Responsibilities -
- Consistently close new business at or above quota level
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the region and create reliable quarter and annual sales forecasts business with revenue generated from brands
- Own & build relationships for the assigned category with key brands by positioning brand solutions suite.
- Grow the sampling channel - closing accounts that can contribute to 5% of transactions of the overall business
- Creating new business with brands across categories including grocery, medicine, pet supplies, food and others.
- Oversee campaign management of the ad portfolio of top clients, including on-boarding, consulting and meeting goals
- Work with external facing contacts including agencies and industry influencers.
- You are expected to be extremely focused on metrics, analytics and data driven to ensure that the customer/brand experience is enhanced
Skills & Qualifications -
- 5+ years of applicable prior experience in working with brands
- A deep understanding of the industry's issues & modus operandi
- Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills
- Demonstrated ability to source, manage and close high-level business requirements in high pressure situations
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans, to scale - concept selling-
