Head of Business Development will be responsible for all customer engagements in India focusing on superior account management and execution of new product strategies, resulting in client's recognition as the premier supplier of technology solutions in Telecom space.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic account plan for India, to maximize client's revenue, new product adoptions, and key technology engagements
- Direct Account responsibilities for all Indian key accounts and possibly some other accounts
- Achieve revenue targets while providing a long-term, sustainable, value-based relationship with client's strategic accounts
- Cultivate effective relationships with customers at all levels, emphasizing collaboration for mutual benefit
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments through communication of customer situations, opportunities, and overall market conditions
- Availability to travel 30-40%
Education
MBA/PG in Electronics or Semiconductors
Critical Success Factors
- Technical electronics background
- Experience with major Telecom organizations in Account Management function.
- Experience of price negotiation/competition analysis preferred
- Proven solid knowledge of some aspects of the Semiconductor industry is required
- Verifiable successful experience as sales or a country manager
- Excellent written and oral communications in English
- A long and proven track record for strong strategic thinking, leadership skills and achieving results and meeting or beating revenue targets
- Proven ability to effectively influence internal groups and external customers and manage change effectively
- Knowledge of China customers and strong understanding of China business culture and mentality within the high technology space
- Strong ability in dealing with ambiguity and effective in a complex organization
