Business Development Director - Financial Product (Treasury Sales experience MUST)
8+ years Sales and Product Specialist experience with a strong domain knowledge of financial products and a strong interest in selling financial products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, a deep understanding of the data and research industry, experience of dealing in treasury and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and achieving individual and team sales targets.
1. Business Development:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market to expand the company's client base.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
2. Sales Strategy and Planning:- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to align sales initiatives with overall company goals.
3. Sales Presentations:- Deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company's data and research solutions and demonstrating their value in addressing client needs.
4. Negotiation and Closing:- Lead negotiation processes, addressing client concerns and objections to successfully close deals.
- Prepare and review contracts and agreements to ensure they align with company policies and legal requirements.
5. Sales Reporting and Analysis:- Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the management team, highlighting key performance metrics and insights.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage and track sales activities, leads, and opportunities.
6. Collaboration and Teamwork:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to sales.
Skills and Requirements:- 8+ years Sales experience with strong domain knowledge of financial products and market is must.
- A master's degree (MBA /CFA/FRM) is a plus.
- Understanding of treasury workflow, asset manager's workflow and dealing in treasury related solutions is a must.
- Good customer relationship with various institutions like AMC, Banks, PE, VC, Advisory, Consultants, Banks, NBFCs, Insurance etc.
- Good understanding of client workflows in above segments.
- Excellent EQ and relationship building skills, both internally and with clients.
- Results driven: Heavily focused on output, activity and individual performance.
- Resilience - knows how to stay focused and keep spirits high.
- Able to negotiate effectively with senior executives.
