Business Development Analyst.
The Company is a young, fast-growing family owned Group with interests in Real Estate, Automobile, Education and Venture Capital sectors. We are currently at the cusp of an major expansion and professional transformation and seeking to hire a mid to senior level professional to head the Administration function of the Group.
Title: Business Development Analyst
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct Research
A significant portion of time will be spent conducting research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competing organizations, customer demographics, new technologies and more.
Interpret Data
Once the necessary amount of research, use their experience and skills to figure out what their findings could mean for the company as a whole.
Make Recommendations
This will involve drafting a fully-fledged proposal for based on the research
Keep Records
Track and record metrics, data and statistics on company performance, connections, client retention, customer retention and finances on a regular basis.
Business Development Analyst Skills
- Goal oriented, highly motivated individuals who thrive off of constant analysis and improvement. Should be able to effortlessly switch between evaluating their company as a whole and evaluating small and detailed pieces of data.
- Attention to Detail: In order to make sense of pieces of information, Business Development Analysts need to be extremely attentive to detail.
- Multitasking: Work will frequently revolve around several different projects and timelines. Because of this, the ability to multitask is essential.
- Financial Acumen: financial acumen is an important skill.
The Role
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) -
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Improve systems by studying current practices, identifying problems, designing modifications.
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and project budget.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models.
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments.
- Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
- Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required and presents findings of studies to client committees.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes.
The Candidate
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
MBA in Finance ( preferred from tier 2 institutes )
Indicative years of exp - 2- 4 Yrs.
1. Strong Presentation Skills ( PowerPoint )
2. Strong Communication skills
3. Ability to analyse data and crunch numbers
Bonus Skills:
- Ability to learn and grasp any problem quickly.
- Comfort and confidence in solving unstructured problems.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with other peer professionals.
